Comfort food?

Comfort food?
Do I have a Comfort food?, personally, I don’t think so. I honestly don’t think I have a food that I always eat when I am upset, or certain times of the year. For the most part, as long as I am concerned, as long as they still have beef and pizza, I’m good.
I really do not have a food that I turn to, since I do not get stressed out all that much. When I do get stressed out, I turn to just doing the task at hand instead of a Comfort food. But I do like food, I am not anorexic or anything like that. My favorite food would be better topic. My favorite food would by far be any type of beef product, or deer. Deer or elk or buffalo is good.
I like meat. I am more than willing to try most any types of meat, the strangest would probably be elk. I had that in Colorado this past summer. I thought I was very good. Amazing, no, but very good none the less. But my top would be the classic cow, or the buffalo (the over grown cow as I have been known to call it). If you were to put either one of them on a plate, or bun, it would be a good day for the home team.
My favorite way to have a nice, tender steak would be by far a nice seasoned-pan-seared steak. Oddly enough, I like my steak medium well to well done. I will happily eat a rare to medium rare one, but the I make it is amazing. When I am done, I get the out side somewhat tough, but the inside is just right. When you can get that magical moment when just about all of the pink is gone, right there, you have found magic. Then the seasoning. Personally, I am open to anything but teriyaki. I love a nice little Cajun kick to it. But it can not be over-powering,. Instead, one must lust be able to taste a hint of it, you basically have to know its there. Combine that with the wonderful little Smokey flavor, heaven is just a bit away. Then pan-seared it has to be. The grill is okay, but often times you run in to the burn on crisp that is nasty. The pan, which holds the essences’ of flavors past, gives it the taste it needs.
Yet, I do not consider this a Comfort food. Nope, I see it as my favorite food. I do not fee any wonderful happiness, I just am glad that I can taste what I want to taste. that’s all.
But that’s just me

Arguing

Arguing
Quarreling conflicting, in disagreement out of sync, what ever you call it, its all the same. But to say that you argue with some one dose certainly not mean that you two are enemies. Fro instance, my mom and I are none for our arguing, ask my dad, but it does not mean that we are enemies, it just means that we have differing view points. Personally, I love a good argument. Why, well I feel that it is one of the best way to get some ones’ true emotions and feelings about something, and I just like to argue stuff. I guess I also like it because it is a bit of a challenge at times and makes you think, even if you are wrong.
When I comes to arguing, I feel there is a bit of an art form to it. One can not simply just waltz into one and expect to come out ahead. It also depends on what grounds you are arguing on. On a whole, when people argue they are trying to prove a point. And you normally want to win. This is how I basically argue.
First, I consider my audience, my adversary, and my topic. These three things are very important. The audience is very important since normally there is more of them then there are of you and it would be a good thing to almost win them over so you could have a back you plan and some sort of fall back plan. The adversary is also very important. If you want to win, you must try to get into their head and put them into a place where, due to prior convictions, they would have to agree with you. This work exceptionally well when you have a good audience. Also you have to consider the topic. You have to think of as much as you can and become as familiar as you can with it so you are not left looking like an idiot.
Second, you must chose your vocabulary. Personally, I hate cursing and rarely try to do it. You have to keep in mind you audience and adversary though. If you know that they respond well to a whole lot of loud cursing, well let it fly, but then again, you have to be able to control it as well to show that you are not week and can control yourself. Personally, I find mono-logging to work the best. I will pace for hours and talk constantly until I feel I have it right.
Then after that, you must be careful. When I start, I try to get them to agree with me. Once you get them to agree with you, in my mind, you have just about won. For once you get them to agree with you, you could either be a pacifist and calmly de-fuse the situation, or come in like a hammer and destroy them by saying how can they even be arguing if you already agree. But you must be careful and watch your blind side. Because if they see you getting the upper hand, they may do something rash, or even your audience may feel it necessary to just and put forth their two cents, which could jeopardize your entire campaign
Now, this is a rare insight on my personal way to argue. The only person who also knows this the only person I am always debating with, my mom.

Homework

Homework
What do I think of homework, personally, I kind of like it. I don’t like doing it, or the fact that I have to do it, but to me it shows that teacher cares. To me it shows that they care by giving the student another possible way to learn, almost like a discover learning method which I like. But I am not saying that teachers who don’t give don’t care. In subjects like woodshop or CAD, it would be hard to give homework since they are “in-class” subjects, meaning that most, if not all, of the learning has to be done in class, it is the “nature of the beast”, if you will.
Do I think I have too much homework? No. I think I have a fair amount if you take into consideration my classes. When you have only three real academic ones, English, Pre-Clac, and Physics, I think I have a good amount of homework. normally I have about one thing a night to do. Whether I do it or not, well that depends sadly on how much time I have in lunch. Then the only homework I normally have on weekends is a project here and there, the occasional lab, or the guaranteed blog, with a forum to spice it up at times, but that’s about it.
The “required” amount of homework I have seen change, in two ways. First, on a school wide plan. Since all teachers must have homework count as 20% of your grade, I have seen teacher give out homework just because they have to. While on the other hand, I have seen a major decline in homework from my end, simply because I am only taking three real academic courses, English, Pre-Clac, and Physics. While the rest of my looks like 2 woodshops, CAD, gym and lunch. Yes it is a pretty fun and relative easy.
Do I learn from the dreaded homework, yes. I learn that either I knew what I was supposed to know, I didn’t know or figure out what I am supposed to know, or the classic “shoot, I knew I should have done that” as the teacher has the class pass it up. But on a whole I do try to learn from homework. I almost look at it as learning from your mistakes, whether it was you should have done your work, or I physically got the math problem wrong and I see what and how I did it wrong, I try to learn from it.
I am a procrastinator, YES. This blog is a perfect example, here it is, 11:07 Sunday night and I am sitting here typing away. But this is nothing new. I always try to start the “big stuff” early, but I almost always end up finishing them the night or even that morning that they are due.
So, do I like homework, well, who really does. But I liker to think of it as a necessary evil of being a student and of being a working man or woman in society. How does homework help in life, well I feel that it teaches you that you always have to be on top of everything and always try to learn as much about what you have to know about all the time.

Family Elaction?

Family Election?
Would I elect a family member to an office of government, where it be one of gubernatorial status, presidential, or congressional, no.
Why not? Well, the way I see it, election and the right to vote is a sacred right that we as Americans have fought and shed blood over, and if you were to vote in a family member, then you would be almost destroying those values that many a brave man and women have paid the ultimate price for.
Now what in the heck am I talking about. Well, as I’m sure you have guessed, I am just about certifiably nuts. I also have a strange sense of morals with a strong interest and vast knowledge of history. By this I feel that I could not honestly uphold the true meaning of a free election. To elect a family member, all you are doing is endorsing a dead form, or style, of government known as the spoil system. This was when if you knew someone in high a place, one hand washes the other type thing. Voting for a family member would basically be the same thing. How? Well, the way I look at it, when you are to vote on a matter the could change the country or the government, you can not do it on a bias base. If one was to vote for a family member, the person would most likely be voting for him or her just because your loyalties lie else were then where they should. When you vote, you should always vote with the mind set that you think that the person you are electing into office is the most and best trained and qualified to fulfill the position. Yet if you simple vote on any bias, where it is by party loyalties, or family loyalties then you are undoing everything that anyone who died in the name of American Freedom ever did.
Just to contradict myself, one could very successfully vote for a family member. How? Simply because if they are a close family member then you truly know that person. You know that person better than anyone else. You know there strengths and weaknesses. With that information, you could precisely elect the best candidate for that possession.
Who would I elect to office? I would elect my cousin Brian. Why, because I know that he is the person who does what he thinks is right and has no real loyalties, just loyalties to what he thinks is right, and will be damned if he can not portray his views. Also the fact that he is one of the most knowledge people I know, would aid my decision as well.
I know that the real body is only 451 words, and I do apologize for that. I always try to write the correct amount of words, and often times I tend to go way over the 500 word count. Now I think, and hope I have 500 words. 500
